| Hello, I did a few searches on this and the basic tip is to lube the bushings. I then examined the unit and one can't really take it apart to do this (if I'm correct). I thus tried to adjust the exposed flathead axle end of the fan, but that is tigthly screwed into the fan unit. Finally, I carefully sprayed the axle with Wd40; this didn't help either. I then unplugged it, and the ac control didn't work right. Do any of you have any other suggestions. I'm just tempted stop the fan from spinning somehow without unplugging it just so that it stops making that rattling noise at the t-top area. This is irritating the crap out of me. Thanks in advance...
